Assembly and setup
Begin your exploration by carefully unboxing the microscope and positioning it on a stable, flat surface. Gently remove the plastic cover from the eyepiece holder on the microscope's head and insert an eyepiece. Locate the power adapter, connect it to the microscope, and plug it in. Power on the microscope by pressing the designated button.
Using the microscope
Switch on the microscope and select the lower lamp setting. Use the illumination intensity control dimming handwheel to adjust the lamp to its lowest brightness setting, preparing the device for optimal viewing conditions.
Secure the specimen slide onto the stage using the provided slide clips, ensuring the sample is held firmly for examination.
Adjust the monocular head to either a forward or backward-facing position for the most comfortable viewing angle. Look through the eyepiece and use the dimmer wheel to set the bulb brightness to a level that's comfortable for your vision.
Initiate your observation journey with the lowest magnification, centering the 4X objective lens over the stage. Peer through the eyepiece and bring the specimen into focus by gently turning the larger coarse adjustment focus knob, drawing the stage closer to the objective lens.
Once the image comes into view, refine the focus using the blue fine adjustment focus knob to sharpen clarity or to explore different layers of the specimen. Manually move the slide across the stage to explore various parts of the specimen slide.
Elevate your exploration by gently rotating the nosepiece clockwise to increase magnification. Ensure the objective does not make contact with the slide. If needed, use the coarse focus knob to lower the stage, creating space before switching to a higher magnification.
*To utilize the microscope in incident mode, activate the upper light within the body. Place a solid specimen, such as hair or pollen, onto the stage with the objective lenses set to the lowest magnification. Follow the focusing steps to reveal magnified details of the specimen.
Caring for your microscope
To maintain its exceptional quality, store your microscope in a cool and dry place. Protect it with the dust cover when not in use. If cleaning is necessary, gently use a soft brush or compressed air to remove dust from the lenses. Avoid direct contact with optical surfaces and never disassemble the optical components. When not in use, safeguard the eyepiece holder and ocular lens with the included plastic cover.
