I. Assembling the microscope
The components for the S7 series microscopes are shipped detached for protection to ensure maximum security during transport. Open the Styrofoam packing with utmost care and check meticulously to ensure no components remain attached to the packing materials when removed. Preserve all packing materials until you have successfully identified and accounted for all components.
Handle components gently, particularly optical parts, avoiding contact with lens surfaces to prevent detrimental fingerprints or grease stains that compromise image clarity.
Ensure the microscope is assembled on a flat, stable surface for optimal performance and safety.
II. Using the microscope
Interpupillary adjustment
Delicately adjust the two eyepiece tubes until you achieve a singular, unified circular field of vision through the eyepieces. If you observe two distinct circles, it indicates that the interpupillary distance is excessively large. Conversely, if you see two overlapping circles, the interpupillary distance is too small. Our eyepiece tube provides versatile adjustment of interpupillary distance ranging from 54mm to 76mm, ensuring personalized comfort.
Focusing the microscope
To achieve precise focus, utilize the focusing knobs located on both sides of the head holder. These knobs, connected via a 'rack and pinion' mechanism, allow the microscope to move vertically. Adjust the tension by using the tension knob on the right of the focusing knob.
Utilize the focusing knob to adjust the sample at the highest magnification strength. Should the sample remain out of focus, reposition the microscope's height along the vertical pole, ensuring you tighten the locking screw and support collar post-adjustment.
III. Warranty information and customer support
Our precision-engineered microscopes are crafted in compliance with ISO 9001 standards. The warranty details are as follows:
- Five (5) Year Warranty for Microscopes: Our microscopes feature a five-year warranty against manufacturing defects. However, this does not cover normal wear, routine maintenance, add-on accessories, damages from unauthorized repairs, accidents, alterations, shipping mishaps, or misuse.
- One (1) Year Warranty for Electrical and Video components. Note that light bulbs, batteries, fuses, and electrical cords are excluded.
All warranties commence from the original purchase date.
We provide complimentary repair or replacement of warrantied parts, including labor, during the warranty period.
Proof of original purchase is mandatory for warranty service.
Buyers are responsible for the shipping costs to and from our warehouse for warranty services. The warranty is void for damages caused by normal wear and tear, abuse, or unauthorized repairs.
