I. Assembling the microscope

Delicately open the Styrofoam packaging, taking great care to ensure that no piece is inadvertently left connected to any packing material being removed. Preserve all of the packaging materials until each component has been thoroughly identified and verified for completeness.
When handling components, particularly optical lenses, exercise utmost care to avoid contact with lens surfaces using bare hands, as fingerprints and grease can significantly compromise image clarity.
The assembly of the microscope should always be conducted on a flat, stable surface to guarantee unwavering stability during operation.
II. Using the microscope
Interpupillary adjustment
Adjust the eyepiece tubes diligently until a single, unified circular field is visible through both eyepieces, providing a seamless and immersive viewing experience. If you see two distinct circles, the interpupillary distance is too wide; if you observe overlapping circles, the distance is too narrow, necessitating a careful adjustment. The eyepiece tube offers flexible and accommodating adjustment of interpupillary distance from 54 to 76mm, catering to a diverse range of users.
Focusing the microscope
Achieve crystal-clear focus on the specimen using the dual side focusing knobs. These knobs utilize a highly precise 'rack and pinion' mechanism for vertical adjustments. The tension can be finely tuned with the tension knob located within the right focusing knob.
Begin with the highest magnification setting to achieve focus. Should the specimen remain unclear, elevate the microscope's height on the pole. Always secure the height using the locking screw and the support collar post-adjustment.
