Assembly and set up

For a seamless setup, gently remove the microscope from its packaging and place it on a stable, flat surface. Detach the plastic cover from the eyepiece holder on top of the microscope, then secure an eyepiece in the holder. Connect the power adapter to the microscope and plug it in. Activate the microscope by pressing the power button.

Using the microscope
Turn on the microscope and select the lower lamp setting. Utilize the illumination intensity control dimming handwheel to adjust the lamp to the lowest brightness setting suitable for observation.
Place a slide securely using the stage's slide clips.

Adjust the monocular head to either the forward or backward position, whichever offers the most comfortable viewing angle. Observe through the eyepiece and use the dimmer wheel to adjust the bulb brightness to a comfortable level.

Begin your observation with the lowest magnification lens, positioned directly over the stage, starting with the 4x objective. Look through the eyepiece, and bring the image into focus by carefully turning the large coarse adjustment focus knob, moving the stage closer to the objective.

Once the image is visible, fine-tune the clarity using the blue fine adjustment focus knob, allowing you to clearly examine the various layers of your specimen. Gently maneuver the slide across the stage to explore different sections of the specimen.

To increase magnification, smoothly rotate the nosepiece clockwise to select a higher magnification objective. Exercise caution to avoid contact between the objective and the slide. If needed, use the coarse focus knob to lower the stage and create space before adjusting to a new magnification.

*For incident mode usage, switch the illumination to the upper light integrated into the microscope body. Position a solid specimen (like hair or pollen) on the stage with the objective lenses set to the lowest magnification. Follow the focusing steps to reveal magnified details.

Caring for your microscope

Preserve your microscope's quality by storing it in a cool, dry environment. Utilize the dust cover to shield the microscope when not in operation. If needed, cleanse the lenses with a soft brush or compressed air to gently eliminate dust. Avoid direct contact with optical surfaces and never disassemble the optical components. Protect the eyepiece holder and ocular lens with the plastic cover when not in use.
