Assembly and set up
With care and precision, gently remove the microscope body from the box and position it on a sturdy, flat surface. Securely attach the microscope head to the body using the head locking screw, being mindful not to overtighten for safety.
Carefully remove the protective plastic covers from the eyepiece holders, then insert the eyepieces into the holders. At this moment, you have the option to insert the eyepiece adapter into the trinocular camera port on the top of the microscope and either place a third eyepiece in it or mount an eyepiece camera (camera not included). Locate the power adapter and connect it to the microscope, then power it up. Activate the microscope by pressing the Locate the power button conveniently positioned on the back of the sturdy base.
Using this state-of-the-art research grade microscope is a breeze!
Effortlessly turn this advanced piece of technology on with a simple press and expertly adjust the illumination intensity using the intuitive control wheel. Set the brilliant lamp on the lowest brightness setting to start your meticulous observation.
Secure your specimen by clipping a slide into the precise slide holder on the stage. Seamlessly adjust the positioning with the X-Y translational control knobs on the right side of the stage, moving the stage and slide holder to perfectly center the specimen over the illuminating bulb.
Optimize viewing by adjusting the binocular eyepieces until a single, focused image appears when you gaze through them. Personalize viewing by adjusting the bulb brightness to a comfortable level using the convenient dimmer wheel. Note that a colleague can share the spectacular view simultaneously via utilizing an eyepiece fitted with the versatile trinocular port.
Begin your exploration with the lowest power objective lens, the accurately centered 4X, positioned over the stage. Peer through the eyepieces and bring the image into sharp focus by carefully rotating the coarse adjustment focus knob, moving the stage closer to the objective lens. Once focused, switch to the blue fine adjustment focus knob to further refine clarity or explore the intricate layers of the specimen. Enhance your observation by also utilizing the diopter adjustment control on the eyepiece holder at this juncture to achieve
the ultimate clarity. Explore other areas of the slide effortlessly by navigating with the X-Y translational control. Use the precision-engineered knobs to effortlessly move the slide holder seamlessly once the specimen is perfectly in focus.
Experience enhanced clarity by increasing magnification; simply rotate the nosepiece smoothly clockwise to achieve a higher magnification objective, ensuring utmost care to avoid any contact with the slide, as this can potentially lead to damage to the delicate glass on the slide, the objective, or both. In cases where you cannot place the objective into position without contact, smoothly use the coarse focus knob to gently move the stage downward and away to create ample space prior to switching magnification.
Expertly adjust the focusing ring on the iris aperture diaphragm to elegantly alter the resolution of the image. The condenser can be precisely moved closer or further from the stage by gently rotating the metal knob.
For impeccable results with the 100X objective, apply the included immersion oil. Skillfully rotate the nosepiece until the 100X objective is in close proximity, but not touching the specimen slide. Subsequently, place a careful drop of the included immersion oil onto the cover slip. Gently and slowly rotate the 100X objective into precise position so it makes contact with the immersion oil. Adjust focus meticulously until your specimen is magnificently clear. (Note: Right after utilization, always delicately wipe the Gently remove any oil from the objective lens and cover slip using lens paper moistened with a minimal amount of ethyl or isopropyl alcohol. This ensures a pristine viewing experience. Please refrain from using immersion oil with the 4X, 10X, or 40X objectives to maintain optimal performance and clarity. objectives.)
The swing-in and swing-out filter holder, located at the base of the Abbe condenser, offers seamless adaptability. Effortlessly swing it out to accommodate a 32mm diameter filter, ensuring it remains free from dust, dirt, and fingerprints for unblemished visual clarity.
