I. Assembling the microscope
The components for the S41-20 microscope are shipped detached to ensure their utmost protection. Carefully open the Styrofoam packing to prevent any components from remaining attached to the packing. It is essential not to discard any packing materials until all components are accounted for. Gently remove the plastic covers from the microscope's head and the two gooseneck LED lights.

Begin by assembling the stand connector with its robust supporting pillar on the vertical column, ensuring the fastening knobs are properly tightened. Next, attach the working arm to the stand connector and connect the focus block connector to the microscope head. Finally, link the working arm and focus block connector using the focus block's secure fastening knob.

Locate the power cord, carefully attach it to the microscope, and plug it in. Activate the power switch located on the back of the microscope stand to bring it to life.

II. Using the microscope

Interpupillary adjustment
Adjust the two eyepiece tubes until you see only one seamless circular field through both eyepieces. If two separate circles are visible, the interpupillary distance is too wide; if they overlap, the distance is too narrow. The eyepiece tube provides flexible adjustment of interpupillary distance from 54mm to 76mm.

Focusing the microscope
To focus on the sample, utilize the focusing knobs located on both sides of the head holder. Turning these knobs allows the microscope to move vertically, facilitated by a precise 'rack and pinion' mechanism.

Utilize the focusing knob to adjust the sample until the image sharpens to perfect clarity. If the sample remains out of focus within the travel range of the S303/S304 pole arm and stand, adjust the microscope head to achieve a working distance of 230mm from the sample. Ensure the locking screw and support collar are tightened after adjusting the height for stable observation.

• Five (5) Year Warranty for Microscopes: Our microscopes are backed by a five (5) year warranty covering manufacturing defects. Normal wear, routine maintenance, add-on accessories, and damages from unauthorized repairs, accidents, alterations, shipping, misuse, or abuse are excluded.
• One (1) Year Warranty for Electrical and Video components. Note that this warranty does not cover expendable items like light bulbs, batteries, fuses, or electrical cords.

All warranties commence from the original date of purchase.
We offer complimentary repair or replacement of warranted parts, including labor, during the warranty period.
Proof of original purchase is required.
