Precision Research Microscope with 360° Rotatable Observation TubePrecision Research Microscope with 360° Rotatable Observation Tube
Crafted with precision for budding scientists in middle and high school, as well as enthusiasts eager for a premium upgrade, the SW200DL monocular compound microscope delivers an exceptional performance housed within a robust and reliable frame. Designed with versatility in mind, the SW200DL's dual illumination system makes it an ideal portable companion for budding scientists, seamlessly transitioning from at-home explorations to captivating science fair displays, and so much more!

Building upon the trusted qualities of our SW200 model, the SW200DL takes optical brilliance to new heights. It boasts an enhanced two-in-one illumination system, ensuring that this is our most formidable and adaptable monocular compound microscope ever! Featuring a metal body that's built to last, a convenient carrying handle, and cordless operation, it's the go-to choice for serious explorations. The SW200DL is equipped with a high-quality LED bulb that provides a cool, adjustable transmitted light from beneath the stage, perfect for investigating transparent slide specimens with utmost clarity. Transform the SW200DL into a stereo microscope with its additional built-in arm light. This illumination from above is perfect for viewing solid objects at lower magnifications, offering an immersive exploration experience. A remarkable range of magnification from 40X to 1000X empowers users to explore the micro-universe with unparalleled detail and precision. Our SW200DL comes with three aberration-correcting DIN objective lenses (4X, 10X, and 40X) that, when paired with two wide-field glass eyepieces (10X and 25X), deliver breathtakingly sharp images devoid of edge distortion. The ergonomic monocular head is designed at a comfortable 45-degree tilt to alleviate neck strain, and it rotates fully, facilitating seamless sharing among multiple users - an ideal setup for classroom collaboration or one-on-one instruction. Precision coaxial focusing knobs, positioned conveniently on both sides of the metal arm, allow for refined and effortless adjustments, ensuring clear and focused observations at the twist of a dial. The plain stage is equipped with reliable clips that firmly secure slides in place, providing stability and accuracy during detailed examinations.

Assembly and Setup
Gently extract the microscope from its packaging and position it securely on a stable, flat surface to ensure optimal performance. Carefully detach the protective plastic cover from the eyepiece holder atop the microscope's head, then securely insert an eyepiece into the holder, preparing it for use. Identify the power adapter, securely attach it to the microscope, and connect it to a power source. Activate the microscope by pressing the power button, bringing it to life.

Operating the Microscope
Power up the microscope and select the lower lamp setting to initiate your exploration journey. Utilize the illumination intensity control dimming handwheel to adjust the lamp to your desired brightness, starting from the lowest setting for a comfortable viewing experience.

Affix a slide securely using the stage's slide clips, preparing it for in-depth observation.

Adjust the monocular head to a forward or backward-facing position according to your comfort for an immersive viewing experience. Peer through the eyepiece and fine-tune the bulb brightness using the dimmer wheel to achieve a comfortable and clear viewing intensity.

Begin with the lowest magnification, centering the 4x objective lens over the stage, setting the foundation for a detailed exploration. Look through the eyepiece and gently turn the coarse adjustment focus knob to bring the stage closer to the objective, making the image come into focus.

Once your image appears, smoothly transition to the blue fine adjustment focus knob to enhance clarity or to peel back layers of your specimen for deeper insight. Manually guide the slide horizontally across the stage to explore various sections of your specimen, uncovering hidden details.

Elevate your magnification by turning the nosepiece clockwise to select a higher objective lens, ensuring caution to avoid any contact with the slide. Should any contact occur during objective change, utilize the coarse focus knob to lower the stage, creating ample space before switching magnification levels.

To utilize the microscope in incident mode, simply switch the illumination to activate the upper light nestled within the microscope's body. Place a solid specimen, like a strand of hair or a speck of pollen, onto the stage with the objective lenses set at the lowest magnification for detailed examination. Follow the prior focusing steps to bring these solid samples into sharp, magnified view, revealing intricate details.

Caring for Your Microscope
To ensure the longevity and pristine condition of your microscope, always store this high-caliber instrument in a cool, dry environment, safeguarding its precision and integrity. Protect your microscope from dust and damage by using the dust cover whenever it's not in active use, ensuring its components remain in optimal condition. For a crystal-clear view, if lens cleaning becomes necessary, utilize a soft brush or compressed air to delicately remove any dust, maintaining the lenses' clarity. Preserve the quality of your microscope by avoiding direct contact with optical surfaces and refraining from disassembling its intricate optical components. When the eyepiece is not in use, ensure its safety by covering the eyepiece holder and ocular lens with the plastic cover, protecting these vital parts.
