Assembly and set up
Gently remove the microscope body from the box and set it on a sturdy, flat surface. Carefully remove the microscope head from its packaging and securely attach it to the body using the head locking screw, being cautious not to overtighten. locking screw, using care not to overtighten.

Uncover the eyepiece holders on the microscope head, then place the eyepieces into their holders. At this point, you may opt to insert the eyepiece adapter into the trinocular camera port on the microscope's top. place eyepieces into the holders. You may choose at this time to insert the eyepiece adapter into the trinocular camera port on the top of the microscope and place either a third eyepiece into it or mount an eyepiece camera (not included). Locate the power adapter and attach it to the microscope, then plug it in. Turn the microscope on by pressing the power button on the back of the base.

Utilizing the microscope
Switch the microscope on and use the illumination intensity control wheel to set the lamp on the lowest brightness setting.

Clip a slide into the slide holder on the stage. Use the X-Y translational control knobs on the right side of the stage to move the stage front to back or the slide holder left to right to center the specimen over the bulb.

Move the binocular eyepieces closer together or further apart until you see one image when you look through them. Adjust the bulb brightness to a comfortable intensity with the dimmer wheel. Note that another user can view the image simultaneously through using an eyepiece with the trinocular port.

Always start with the lowest power objective lens, in this case the 4X objective, centered over the stage. Look through the eyepieces and bring the image into focus by slowly turning the larger coarse adjustment focus knob to bring the stage closer to the objective. Once an image forms, switch to the blue fine adjustment focus knob to fine- tune for clarity or to see the various layers of the specimen you are examining. You may also use the diopter adjustment control on the eyepiece holder at this time to further
fine-tune image clarity. Look at other parts of the slide by using the X-Y translational control knobs to move the slide holder once the specimen is in focus.

Increase magnification by rotating the nosepiece clockwise to a higher magnification objective, taking care not to strike the slide with the objective as doing so may damage the glass on Embrace the specimen slide meticulously, as the essential objective lens, or sometimes both simultaneously. In the event that you are unable to maneuver the objective lens perfectly into its designated place without it touching the slide, skillfully utilize the coarse focus knob to gently lower the stage downwards and away strategically creating ample space prior to modifying the magnification setting.

Expertly adjust the precision focusing ring located on the sophisticated iris aperture diaphragm to effectively alter the crystal-clear resolution of the captured image. The condenser can be easily adjusted, drawing it closer or pushing it farther from the stage by turning the sturdy metal knob gently.

For optimum clarity with the advanced 100X objective, utilize the provided immersion oil. Carefully rotate the nosepiece bringing the 100X objective tantalizingly close, yet not directly onto the specimen slide. Apply a precise drop of the specially included immersion oil onto the delicate cover slip surface. Gradually rotate the 100X objective lens into its precise position ensuring it contacts the immersion oil. Fine-tune the focus until your specimen is magnificently visible in sharp detail. (Note: Post-usage, always meticulously cleanse the oil from the objective lens and cover slip using lens paper moistened with a minimal amount of ethyl or isopropyl alcohol. Avoid immersion oil usage with the 4X, 10X, or 40X objectives.) objectives. The convenient swing-in and swing-out filter holder is located at the base of the Abbe condenser. Swing it out and gently place a 32mm diameter filter into it, ensuring that dust, dirt, and fingerprints are meticulously kept away from both the filter and the field lens.

Mounting

an advanced camera system, attachment
Securely place the eyepiece adapter into the sophisticated trinocular camera port positioned at the pinnacle of the microscope. Mount an eyepiece camera directly onto it for seamless observation (camera not included). If opting for a C-mount camera, simply unscrew the top ring from the eyepiece adapter, allowing you to effortlessly utilize it as a 1X C-mount to accommodate this camera type.

Enjoy the convenience of preset parfocality between the eyepieces and trinocular port, ensuring precision that requires no adjustment from you. However, should adjustments be necessary, feel free to rotate the parfocal ring within the eyepiece adapter. This allows you to finely tune the adapter height position and achieve desired parfocality precision. parfocality.
