Each component of the S7 series microscopes is meticulously shipped detached to ensure safety and maintain pristine condition. Open the Styrofoam packaging with care, ensuring that every component is carefully extracted and no part is inadvertently left behind. Retain all packaging materials until you have identified and verified each component to assure completeness.
Handle the components with utmost care. Particularly, avoid touching optical lenses with your hands, as it may reduce image clarity due to fingerprints and grease.
Set up the microscope on a flat, stable surface to assure unwavering stability during its operation.
II. Using the microscope
Interpupillary adjustment
Adjust the eyepiece tubes for a seamless visual experience, ensuring a unified circular field through both eyepieces. If two separate circles appear, it suggests an excessive interpupillary distance. If the circles overlap, the distance is too short, necessitating an adjustment. Our eyepiece tube provides flexible interpupillary adjustment, ranging from 54 to 76mm, accommodating a diverse user base.
Focusing the microscope
Utilize the dual side focusing knobs to achieve precise focus. These knobs facilitate vertical adjustments through a sophisticated 'rack and pinion' system. Tension is adjustable via the tension knob located on the right focusing knob.
Begin with the highest magnification for clarity. If needed, adjust the microscope's height on the pole, securing it with the locking screw and support collar to ensure stability.
