I. Assembling the microscope
The components for the S7 series microscopes are shipped detached for protection. Gently unpack the Styrofoam packaging to ensure no components are inadvertently left attached to the packing materials that are being removed. Keep all packing materials intact until every component has been fully identified and verified.
Handle all components with utmost care, especially optical lenses, to prevent fingerprints and grease that may impede image clarity.
Assemble the microscope on a flat, stable surface to ensure a secure setup and optimal performance.
II. Using the microscope
Interpupillary adjustment
Adjust the eyepiece tubes until a single, cohesive circular field is visible through both eyepieces for an enhanced viewing experience. Should you see two separate circles, the interpupillary distance is too wide; if circles overlap, the distance is too narrow, indicating the need for precise adjustment. The eyepiece tube provides flexible adjustment of interpupillary distance ranging from 54 to 76mm, accommodating diverse users.
Focusing the microscope
Utilize the dual side focusing knobs to precisely focus on the specimen. These knobs adjust the vertical movement through a precise 'rack and pinion' mechanism. Adjust tension with the tension knob located within the right focusing knob for optimum control.
Begin with the highest magnification setting for initial focus. If the specimen is not clear, adjust the microscope's height on the pole and secure it with the locking screw and support collar for stability.
III. Warranty information and customer support

- Five (5) Year Warranty for Microscopes: Covers manufacturing defects but excludes routine wear, maintenance, accessories, unauthorized repairs, accidents, modifications, shipping, misuse, or abuse.
- One (1) Year Warranty for Electrical and Video components. Consumables such as bulbs, batteries, fuses, and cords are not covered.
