Assembly and Setup

Kickstart your scientific exploration by gently removing the microscope from its packaging and positioning it on a stable, flat surface. Carefully remove the protective plastic cover from the eyepiece holder atop the microscope's head and securely place an eyepiece into the holder. Connect the power adapter and plug it in. Energize the microscope with the power button, revealing the wonders of microscopy.

Using the Microscope
Power on the microscope and select the lower lamp setting. Adjust the illumination using the intensity control dimming handwheel, reducing the lamp to its minimal brightness for an optimal and comfortable viewing experience.
Secure your slide on the stage using the slide clips, setting the stage for an in-depth exploration of your selected specimen.

Gently rotate the monocular head to either the forward or backward-facing position for comfort. Peer through the eyepiece and adjust the bulb brightness using the dimmer wheel to tailor a superior visual experience to your preferences.

Begin your observation with the lowest magnification objective lens, the 4x, centered over the stage. Look through the eyepiece and refine the image by turning the larger coarse adjustment focus knob, which precisely adjusts the stage nearer to the objective for a sharply focused view.

Once the image is clear, transition to the blue fine adjustment focus knob to enhance clarity further or explore different specimen layers. Manually maneuver the slide across the stage to explore various sections of the specimen slide thoroughly.

To increase magnification, rotate the nosepiece clockwise to choose a higher magnification objective, ensuring it does not contact the slide. If necessary, use the coarse focus knob to lower the stage, creating ample space before switching magnification.

*When using the microscope in incident mode, switch the illumination to the upper light embedded in the microscope's body. Position a solid sample (like hair or pollen) on the stage with the objective lenses at the lowest magnification. Follow the focusing steps to unveil magnified details with precision and clarity.

Caring for Your Microscope

To ensure your precision instrument retains its immaculate condition and exceptional performance, it is crucial to store your microscope in an environment that is both cool and dry. For ultimate safeguarding, utilize the included dust cover when your microscope is not actively in use. If cleaning becomes necessary, gently employ a soft brush or compressed air to carefully remove dust from the lenses. It's important to avoid direct contact with optical surfaces, and disassembling optical components is strongly discouraged. Make sure the eyepiece holder and ocular lens are protected with the provided plastic cover when the eyepiece isn't in use.
